InnoAGE™ SSD with Microsoft Azure Sphere Inside

As a world-first, the InnoAGE™ SSD directly embeds Microsoft technology within an Industrial-grade SSD to achieve a hybrid edge/cloud solution.

With Azure Sphere inside, the InnoAGE™ SSD steps out of the traditional limitations of flash storage with a separate out-of-band connection with the Azure Cloud. This means unfettered connection to your SSD, even if the host system crashes. The Azure Sphere MCU directly gives the SSD commands and collects data.

This way there is always an easily accessible connection to your storage device to check status, run system recovery, implement security measures, or run data analysis. The SSD supports GPIO, SPI, UART for device communication, as well as Wi-Fi and Ethernet to connect to the Azure Cloud. The cloud connection is secured through sophisticated authentication methods.

The InnoAGE™ SSD is optimized for use in intelligent manufacturing, IoT Gateways, unmanned vehicles, surveillance, and digital signage applications.
